We are an AMA-chartered model aircraft club. For decade(s), our club has flown both in Ridgecrest and the surrounding areas.

In 2020, we developed an airfield just 25 miles away, in the town of Trona.

Our airfield features a 500ft gravel runway, pilot booths, tables, (removeable) shade, and a galore of wide-open unobstructed space! It is currently the best place to legally fly in the Indian Wells Valley, with the more stringent (military) airspace regulations in recent years.
 

Members fly model aircraft such as airplanes, helicopters, and quad-copters. We fly on a regular basis, and welcome people of all skill level. We also have AMA instructors with designated trainer aircraft and buddy-boxes for people with no experience!
